BNWWS characterizes itself as a financially self-sustainable Microfinance Institution with a wide base of the poor population. It is committed to strengthening the Socio-Economic Status of poor women in rural and urban areas by providing technical & financial services
Vision
Our vision centers around women empowerment and creation of an egalitarian society free from exploitation, poverty alleviation by offering financial assistance to enlarge the scope of self-employment.
Objective
Formed Self Help Group and trained the backward women to bring them under the purview of the microcredit activity. Provide collateral-free loan to enhance their income. Socio-economic development for poor people.
About Us
Barasat Napara Women Welfare Society (BNWWS) is a Non-Profit, Non-Governmental Organization that was founded by a group of male & female volunteers in the year 2015. Female from various spheres of life such as education, health and women activism are the members of the Board. We decided that we will do something more for our village. Then we apply for a legal Society name Barasat Napara Women Welfare Society (BNWWS) under West Bengal Societies Act-1961. Now our organization spreads all over the Barasat area.
The registered office of the organization currently situated in District North 24 Parganas. BNWWS works for women empowerment with communities is the entire province of Barasat, with a focus on rural areas. Their important area of intervention is Napara, Barasat.
Our Projects
Cloth Distribution
The members of BNWWS distribute garments and woolen clothes to the poor and destitute people
