Barasat Napara Women Welfare SocietyBesides the daily activities, our members are engaged in arranging some other projects such as distributing clothes to poor, arrange foundation program, distributing mosquito nets to public and aware people about saving the environment.
Cloth Distribution
The members of BNWWS distribute garments and woolen clothes to the poor and destitute people The members of our society arrange cloth distribution camps every year with the help of local business owners. In these camps, we distribute blankets, woolen wrapper and clothes to the poor and homeless people of rural areas. We also distribute school uniforms to poor students. Every year we also distribute saree to women who work as a maid in special occasions like Durga puja or Eid.
Foundation Program
Our organization, BNWWS is established on 2015, completed 5 years of working as a women welfare organization in Barasat The President, The General Secretary & other Members of our Managing Committee, staff, teachers, Social Worker, Home inmates, students have observed this auspicious day of our organization. We light-up candles, cut a cake, distribute sweets to children and perform cultural programs by home inmates.
Donate Mosquito Curtain
Mosquitoes are the worst problematic insects who spread dreadful diseases, we donate mosquito camps for the residents Mosquito curtains are distributed by our group members under the supervision of local health centre and doctors. The residents also get advice on saving from mosquito bites, preventing the breeding of mosquito larva and taking some important medicines.
Save Environment Camp
Environment has a big effect in our lives, we take action plans to save the environment by arranging different actions Different mills and factories release harmful gases in the air every day that pollute our environment, become a reason for illness; the polluted air affects our respiratory system and makes us ill for the rest of life. Greenery provides enough oxygen in our environment and balances the environment; planting trees help to repair the bad effects due to our harmful works.
