Barasat Napara Women Welfare SocietyThe activities of this organization is focused on the welfare of society and people of Barasat from the beginning of our journey. It is the hard work of our members which has reflected in every aspect of our projects.
Beautician Training
Beauty parlours are the most profitable business ideas that need minimum education and a good skill over transforming Nowadays, both boys and girls are conscious about their looks and personality; beauticians are the best artists who take care of these matters professionally. Being a makeup artist or beautician, women can earn good money from it. In our income-generation training camp, we provide training on beautician courses by trained beauticians.
Computer Training
Computer Training Programs arrange with the help of teachers and trainers for the women of rural areas of Barasat Computers are the future of our success and is a useful machine for our up-gradation but people of rural areas are still not aware of its benefits. We try to make the people aware about the usage of computers and the benefits after knowing it. We are trying to arrange some computers for the children from slum areas to provide them with practical training.
SHG Training
Self-help groups are the best association to solve the problems of poor people in rural areas by providing business ideas Self-help groups are the best way to form an idea for a business. Many small banks give loans to start small businesses through a group. We are focusing on creating some small self-help groups who can take a loan from the bank and do business themselves. Our women members make little groups where local women take part and get training over different things like vocational training, training to make handicrafts, pickle making, chips making, etc. In this program, we have tied up with the local administration to provide SHG training to the female members.
Staff Training
As Barasat Napara Women Welfare Society is growing, we need more trained staff to manage our other branches as well staff is the main pillar of this organization. So the organization’s priority to improve its staff’s skill and motivation power. After six months a one-day training is being arranged by a special trainer who has engaged in the microfinance program. This training session will provide knowledge about the work environment of our society; the rules and regulations while managing the works; basic responsibilities as staff members and the minimum qualification. We give an overall demonstration of our work method to the trainees and take a day’s examination to find out the reliable or right members.
